Explore four tunes from the distinctive folk heritage of the Isle of Man – two Manx ‘carvals’ or carols, a ceremonial song and a winter tune. The contrasting melodies will explore the versatility of the dulcimer, as we will play in drone, chord-melody and finger styles, using different tunings. Each piece is approached at different levels, making the class suitable for confident Intermediate through to Advanced players. A capo will be required.
