Starting in 16th Century England, we’ll explore “Greensleeves”; then in 18th Century France, “Plaisir d’Amour”, popularised in the modern era by Paul Robeson and Joan Baez among others. Finally, in 19th Century Germany, we’ll play “Muss I Denn”, a hit once again in 1960 as “Wooden Heart” by Elvis Presley.
