Elaine Conger
Elaine Conger is a life-long musician and music educator. She likes to say she “married into” the dulcimer community! Bass dulcimer is her instrument of choice, especially when playing with her husband, Larry Conger, former National Mountain Dulcimer champion. Her years as a professional musician include playing keyboards and singing back-up vocals for country artist Faith Hill and performing on the General Jackson Showboat in Nashville. When she and Larry are not teaching or performing in their new location near the Smoky Mountains, she serves as music director in an Episcopal Church.
