ATTENTION WINDOWS 11 USERS
During the last event, 0.2% of our participants encountered an issue with their ability to hear music in their Zoom meetings. (Example: One participant in a workshop could not hear the instructor playing music while the other 29 participants heard everything just fine.) The problem was on the participant’s end, not the instructor’s.
If you have previously experienced this in Zoom meetings, have recently purchased a new Windows 11 computer, or have upgraded to Windows 11, you may want to be prepared, just in case.

QuaranTUNE’s Suggested Quick-Fix:
Per our important disclosures, it is the participant’s responsibility to be prepared to use Zoom for their workshops and that means knowing how to adjust whatever settings you may need to adjust on your end in order to access meetings and hear your instructor. However, if you run into this problem and don’t know how to solve it, the fastest, easiest, and most predictable way to work around it is to continue watching your workshop from your computer. Turn the volume off, and dial into the workshop by speaker phone so you can hear everything. The dial-in numbers and information will be in your Zoom invitations. This may not feel ideal, but it WILL work if you happen to be one of the few who has problems hear your instructor’s instrument.
Our help desk is happy to assist with tracking down lost invitations, and basic Zoom help, but they will be unable to assist with any issue that is linked to your internal PC or Windows settings.
