Timothy Seaman
Timothy Seaman is a uniquely expressive player using his separated-hands technique, zig-zags, and dynamics, as well as colorful chording and rhythm to evoke drama and meaning. After 19 years teaching English and playing in acoustic duets and trios, he went full-time with music in 1994, mostly solo, and now also teaches music at a Classical school. He’s produced 15 of his own CDs on Virginia Parks, Christmas, and Celtic themes, with titles like Sycamore Rapids and Here on this Ridge. When you tour Virginia you might see his CDs in museum and park shops. He lives in historic Williamsburg (a great kayaking area), but he's a backpacker at heart and loves to get out onto the ridges that inspire many of his compositions!
